The club has locked in three events from now until the seasons end. They promise to be massively fun nights for the club:
- 19 July – Joker Jackpot. $5 entry – drinks at bar prices
- 9 August – Comedy Night hosted by Pinky. $15 entry – hours worth of laughs. I mean, hours. We encourage all of our members and friends to attend this hilarious night of laughs.
- 23 August – Annual Spit Roast night and barrow of booze draw.
It would be great to see everyone at these events as they are a crucial way for the club to raise funds so that we can invest into the future and the facilities around the club.
Barrow of Booze
As previously mentioned we are running the Barrow of Booze again this week, we are very much kindly ask for our club members and senior players to donate a bottle or 6 pack of something to the cause. We also ask for all senior players to sell a raffle book of 10 tickets. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. Please see Gaz with your donation and to pick up/drop off your tickets in due course.

Coaches Corner
Coaches Corner is held every week at 545pm – it is a great opportunity for the club to unite as one big family. We go through all the games for the day (including our girls) from u11 up to State League. We would love to see you up at the rooms, grabbing a drink with your family and friends. Maybe even grab one of Leanne’s famous Dim Sim rolls!!!
Merchandise
If you have ordered merchandise, it is SOON here. Lisa Smith who has been driving this all season (and doing a great job) will be at the rooms distributing to those who made an order THIS THURSDAY between 5-8pm. So if you have ordered some of our merchandise don’t miss your chance to pick it up!
Chocolate Fundraiser
If you have still got your box of chocolates at home, could you please bring your money and chocolates back to the club if you have forgotten. This, like the above, is one of our fundraisers for the year. However, should you be in the mood to sell another box please see Nina Reid who will be more than happy to give you an additional box to sell and collect the money. If you need to sell a frog or two to finish your box, just ask Pinky – he will be sure to help you out.
Do you have a spare baby changing table?
If you do, let us know, we would love to borrow it for the season. Or, maybe, if you know some kind soul that could be able to donate one to the club, lets know.

SMASH SPORTS SHOW DETAILS:
Smash FM would like to invite Malvern Lacrosse Club to be involved on Smash FM by coming on our weekly show called “Smash Sports Show”. All of our shows and broadcast can be listened to on our Facebook, Twitter or Website. Our “Smash Sports Show” is a very light hearted and the aim of the show is to promote their local club and the sports that they are involved in. The club members and players can come on the show to be interviewed by myself on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday evenings between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at either one of the following options below:-
- AT YOUR SPORTING CLUB NOTE: Please advised us 2-3 weeks prior so we can confirm the interview.
- PHONE INTERVIEW
When your guest are on the show, we will be asking them about a couple of the following questions which includes:-
- The weekend’s game in review and preview
- The year in review or preview or even mid-season preview/review
- The guest sporting career which includes how they got into the sport of their respective sports, what interested them in competing in the sport, career highlights, what made it special for them to be involved at the club, what are their future goals in the sport, what position they play on the sport
- All about their sporting clubs
- Giving our listeners some advice on how to get involved in their respective sports.

Match Reports
Hi All, I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays. This week under 18’s play Camberwell away. The game is at Eric Raven Reserve. (Near High St. Enter from Estalla St.) Please make sure you are there by 10.00 am. Training this Thursday Night 10th July at Town Hall as usual 5.30 Start. Please make sure that if for any reason you will NOT be at Training this Thursday you REPLY either by e-mail or sms. Most of our gang does this but there is still guys NOT turning up and NOT letting Dave or Myself know. (very Frustrating) In regard to Subs. (Most do not need to worry as they have paid) I have on more than one occasion expressed that the Committee needs Subs paid. It has been stated that if anyone has any difficulty in paying, they can contact Myself in confidence and an arrangement can be made. Even a part payment may be accepted by the Committee. (At least a deposit) Please be aware that the decision of our committee is that if it is NOT sorted by this Thursday you will NOT play.
