Hi All and Happy New Year.
It is with great pleasure that I am able to officially announce Glenn Meredith as our State League Coach for 2015.
As we are all aware Glenn has previously had 5 very good years as our coach and after a year off to Coach the Aussie Team he returns to sort out some “Unfinished Business”.
Glenn mentioned in his application that “He is excited about some of the younger ones coming through
and the return of some of our senior players.”
I personally have had quite a few lengthy discussions with Glenn over the past few months and let me tell you all, he returns fired up about the prospects of our club in 2015.
Returning from the “World Stage” in Denver with so much more experience and know how
we as a club are blessed to be able to make this appointment. We as a Club stand right behind you Rubber so go for it!!
Pre Season details will be sent out shortly as I must meet with the Council to organise a ground.
In the mean time I keep telling the players to “Get some running done” and be assured
that Rubber will get our gang FIT !!

I have previously asked that any type of Past Players listing that anyone may have to send them on
to Mick Quinn,Norm Coleman or ‘Ringo’ (Kon Mitsopolous) but as yet we have not received anything.
Could anyone with these lists please make a move.

Played 286 State League games for Caulfield and Malvern scored 1374 goals and a proud member of Caulfield Lacrosse Club’s Team of the Century. Represented Victoria on 7 occasions and was selected in 2 National Carnival All Star teams. Represented Australia in Under 19s in the USA and Seniors in Canada, America, Japan as Captain, and played in the 1990 World Championships in Perth. Coached with Chris Baker and Murray Keen the Victorian Senior State team from 2007 to 2011 in which the Victorians won 5 National Championships in a row and helped guide 51 different players through the team during that time. Head Coach of the Malvern Lacrosse State League Team 2009-2013.
