Hard Rubbish this Weekend

This Saturday 19th of Sept we as a club must get all of our Hard rubbish ready for collection for next Weds 24th Sept. We missed the collection earlier this season and it is Now the perfect opportunity to get rid of stuff that has been lying idle for years.

We are doing a combined clean out with the Malvern cricket Club.

We are seeking people to help out again and especially any members who are handy with a grinder or hacksaw as we have a few old goals to break down and dispose of.

It will be between 11.00am and 1.00pm this coming Saturday so please come along.

Well that was the year that it was !!

We have a week or 2 to reflect on the achievements of MLC for 2015 then it all starts again.   The Committee side of the club does not stop with planning, getting summer clinics up and running and general administration work to be done heading for 2016.   As always our Junior recruiting program is the most important area of focus during the off season and we will always need more people to help.

If any of our members can help in this area over the summer please Put your hand up”

and get involved.

2015 was a culmination of a lot of hard work by our committee, parents, coaches and all of the people who just Live for MLC.

Three Senior Men’s teams and unfortunately they all got put out in the prelim final however, we did play finals which is what we strive for.

Our Senior Coaches put in so much effort during 2015 and this is the reason why ALL of our Seniors played finals.

Congratulations to our Senior Coaches on a great year.

To have 3 teams is a great effort alone, but to have all 3 finish in the Four would be the envy of Most clubs.

The B Grade ladies team made the Grand Final and had a great season but beaten on the day by a Very Good opposition team.

Juniors saw most of our teams being combined but the very noticeable fact was the Improvement from all of our Juniors during 2015.

Under 15 Boys were Premiers and Champions and our U 17s were Premiers.

2 Flags for the club in 2015 and yes we are all very proud of those 2 Flags.

Congratulations to ALL of our Very Talented Junior Coaches.

Club Pack Up

We now get close to the time where we hand over to the Cricket Club and last weekend we had approximately 15 club members pitch in and pack stuff away.

Thanks to ALL of those people .It was a great club effort.

Thank You

I would also like to thank Tarryn Suffolk and her family for donating the Malvern Sticker s to the Club.

In closing out for 2015 I would just like to say thanks from our committee to everyone who has been involved and Loved the “Red and Black” throughout 2015.

Regards Gus.
