Under 14’s are the 2011 premiers and champions
The under 14 team continued their winning ways with a 20-4 win over Camberwell in this years Under 14 Grand Final.
Well done to the Boys & the Coach another great season. The team now has a very impressive track record of which they should be very proud. We know the Club is!
Club Clean Up and Handover
Its come to that time of the year again when we need to pack up the club and had it over to the cricketers.
The process has begun and we need help from as many people as possible.
Next Thursday 22nd September from 6:30pm onward will be an internal pack up and clean of the clubrooms and Saturday 24th 10:00am packing the shed and external clean up.
If you have some time free please come and help the club out and don’t leave all the work to just a few people.
Malvern Lacrosse Club ‘EMPTY’ The fridge night
So as we all know this weekend marks the end of the Lacrosse season, as such there is still drinks in the fridge that needs to be drunk!
So after the games on Saturday feel free to come back to the club for the last time this year.
Malvern Lacrosse Senior Presentation Night
The senior presentation night is on Friday 14th October at the Middle Park Bowls Club.

Grill’d Local Matters
The nominations for October Local Matters at Grill’d Malvern are in… and I’m pleased to say From the 1st of October! Malvern Lacrosse is in.
Grill’d loves to give back to the local communities. So they have created Local Matters.
It’s a community donation programme. Every month your local Grill’d will
donate $500 to the local community.
HOW IT WORKS
The $500 will be split amongst 3 local groups. Each group will be represented on a different jar. Every time a customer buys a burger they are give them a token, you decide who to support by choosing which jar to put your token in. At the end of the month, the tokens are counted to figure out who gets what. The money is split $300 / $100 / $100, so everyone gets something. So get down to Grill’d during October and support us.
Grow With Us Clinics
Attached the registration form for the Grow With Us Clinics which is an initiative arranged by the Stonnington Council which will run for 8 weeks on a Wednesday night commencing Wednesday 19th October at the Malvern Town Hall ground 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
The Council have allocated funds to enable us to purchase equipment / sticks and reversible tops to cater for our requirements to run these sessions.
These clinics will cater for new to Lacrosse kids and also experienced kids and we will also be running a Round Robin Spring Tournament and also some fun activities (fastest shot etc)
If interested please register your child ASAP to ensure they get a spot as this registration form is being sent to over 1000 children in the Malvern area.
(early registration will also assist us with the organisation part of things)
I will be also looking to schedule helpers for each Wednesday night (more details to follow)
Please support this if you can as the Council have supported our club and if successful could lead to it being an ongoing program.

Time: 6.30 p.m arrival. 7 p.m start
Cost: $64 per person, 2 course meal, Bar available

Tables will consist of 10 people and all clubs are required to have a minimum of 10 people from their club attend the night, if wish to attend pease contact the Club.
