All Malvern Lacrosse players interested in upcoming Australian Teams

Australian Lacrosse Association and Lacrosse Victoria have info on their websites regarding selection trials for U21 team for next year’s ASPAC tournament in New Zealand and U19 team for 2012 World Championships in Finland.

Malvern Lacrosse Club has decided to offer to pay half the registration fee for our players who are interested in participating in trials for these teams.  Applications close very soon and there will be a major selection trial camp in Melbourne from 2-7 January.  Note that the trials themselves can be an excellent lacrosse training camp experience, regardless of the selection outcomes.  For example, about 10 Malvern players benefitted from the experience of participating in the same camp in 2006 for the 2008 Aussie team.

Australian Lacrosse Classic – Warrnambool Victoria

Sunday, 17th October 2010 The ‘Australian Lacrosse Classic’ is the first event of its kind to be held in Australia.
Based on the very successful lacrosse tournaments in North America, the event will feature team from all over Australia and the World.
