Match of the week!
Great turn out from the U11’s this week with 11 players showing up in the red and black. Many of them donning the jersey for the first time.
We would like to welcome the following players to the side, who had their first ever lacrosse game this week; Billy, Zoe, Charlie, Thomas and Alfie
Everyone had a great day out with 2 assists coming from our team veteran Riley, getting Alfie and Anderson in to score our goals for the game.
Aimee was pivotal in our back line with great support from Zara and Carl who were all over those ground balls.
Lydia showed up although she was injured to support and cheer from the side. This sort of team spirit is what it’s all about at this level so thank you Liddia for all the sideline cheers.

From Lacrosse Victoria…
Dear Club Presidents and Secretaries,
I wish to advise that the LV Board has approved Malvern’s request to drop their Division 1 team to the Division 2 competition, effective immediately.
This decision has not been taken lightly and has been made with a number of assurances given by the Malvern Lacrosse Club.
Because of this change the Division One fixture will now have a weekly fixtured Bye, to replace the game that Malvern was to play in.
For those teams who have received a Walkover from Malvern thus far, being Caulfield, MCC and Williamstown, these results will be converted to a Bye. This being 4 points allocated, with no score line.
For those clubs competing in the Division 2 competition, Malvern will now replace the fixtured Bye. Their first game in the Division 2 Competition will be on Saturday 12 May.
Please note that the fixtures will be updated over the coming days. We ask that you please check them and note the location of any games against Malvern in the Division 2 Competition.
We appreciate that this is a less than ideal situation and that there is no prefect solution, however this decision has been made considering a wide of range of factors.
We ask that you please communicate this change to your players, coaches and supporters.
