Aussie Mens Movie Night!
For those that aren’t aware, the Australian Mens Lacrosse team is hosting a Movie Night to help raise funds for their trip to the Worlds this year.
Avengers – Infinity War is the movie they will be showing.
No, not at Rubbers house on the big screen but at the
“Sun Theatre” 8 Ballarat St, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 3013
Show your support of the team as they prepare to head to Israel, and purchase your ticket through any of the 9 Victorian-based players by Tuesday 24th April.
Tickets are $20pp and incl. entry into a door prize.

SUBS!!!
Every year it’s the same deal, we need to get you all registered and with that, we need you to pay subs.
If the whole amount isn’t manageable, we can offer a ‘payment plan option’ to all interested.
These need to be actioned this week please as LV requests our ‘Club Fees’ each year.
We head into our first big day at home against Williamstown this Saturday and it would be good if the coaches had a ‘nice list’ to choose from.

First Team Report for 2018 goes to ….
Under 13’s
U13’s took on Brunswick ( formerly Moreland ) for the first game of the 2018 season.
The game took on a slightly different dimension in the last week, as we combined to support Caulfield who are unable to field a stand alone team this year.
18 players took to the field, most had played together before, however we welcomed a couple of newbies with Nathan and Jack joining us after contacting the club over the break.
It is great to know we have 13 Malvern listed players in U13’s for season 2018 and is great reward for the hard work done recruiting juniors.
The game started with Malvern getting out to a great start, and not much changed with the team running a way with a 16-1 win.
The game was about finding our feet, being mates, having fun, and building good lacrosse skills.
Some tweaking over the coming weeks to level out at 16 in the team will take place and the boys are looking forward to a fun year.
