Match Report U13’s
After a week off for the long weekend, the boys were ready to head to the Albert Ground and play on the carpet (ground) known as MCC.
Well into the season now, all kids have the belief and ability to play significant roles in the team.
The game started off well, with the likes of Kobe Cook, Will Rice and Liam Barnes leading by example.
To MCC’s credit, their players hunted in packs, applied unseen pressure to our kids, and we needed to respond.
Half way through the game we were three (3) up, and with Bayley Theoun, Riley Suffolk, Chris Ward, Sam Pearson and Nathan Tzanilis picking up some great ground balls we were able to run away with an 8-3 win.
Special mention to the moon booter in Finn Cook who played the second half in goals and kept a clean sheet.
The moon boot hasn’t dampened his spirits and his smile around the team is fantastic.
Well done Finn.

Past Players Day!**
If you haven’t already heard 30th June is Past Players Day.
A Big Day down at Malvern Lacrosse Club, with games on all day.
It kick’s off with U13’s at 9am, U15’s at 10:30 (TBC), Division 3 at 12:45 and State League at 2:45pm.
So if you know of someone who would like to be there but is not on our email list, please let them know!
For the day to run well – the more helpers the better. Even if you can assist in any way for only 30 mins or more it will be much appreciated and the regulars don’t have to bear the load alone.

The BBQ will be on – as per normal and the canteen will be running all day, with roast beef rolls and jacket potatoes for lunch.
If you have RSA- perfect you can assist with selling alcohol. If not – there is lots to be done.
If you haven’t been involved before this is a fantastic day down at the club – see if you can come down and watch a game.

SUBS AGAIN!!
