SUBS!!! (The Elephant in the room)
These need to be sorted asap. If you financial well done and the club thanks you. If you’ve paid some, the rest needs to be dealt with.
Match Reports.. (Well 2 anyway..)
Under 11’s
Saturday saw the U11’s venture to Chadstone, for a home game v Surrey Park.
With Matt Arnold playing in U13’s, as we start to blood some of our older kids in the higher division, and Seth unwell, we had seven (7) dedicated kids ready to play the game they love.
It took the kids a few minutes to fire up, however once that happened the run, the passing, the ground balls and goals flowed.
Riley Suffolk picked up some key ground balls, Liam Barnes and Will Rice continue to
dominate all facets of the game, Jake Sedy after a late start to the season was heavily involved, and Amelie Mansfield shows the boys what determination is (never giving up).
Toby Bown continues to show promise, with legs going up and down like pistons and a look of pure determination as he charges up the field with ball.
A special mention to Sam (Riley’s friend) who has shown a real passion for the game and our club, and will make a significant contribution as year unfolds.
A 18-5 win.
With thanks,
Adam Barnes

Grants
Just a small note to all about the workload going on behind the scenes.
A group of Malvern members have been vigorously AND successfully applying for Grants offered by very generous organisations.
The latest being a club grant from ‘Vichealth Active Club Grant’ worth $3000 for equipment such as “starter kits”,shoulder pads, gloves, arm pads, goalie equipment etc..
All they want in return is if you are posting anything on social media about lax can you add the hashtag #activeclubgrants which helps spread the word. Dare I say, a possible ‘trend?’
A big thanks to Tarryn,Claire & Adam for all the personal time put into these applications
See you all Saturday and Sunday!!
#activeclubgrants
See what I did there! ; )
