The long awaited first round for 2015 Kicks off this Saturday 11th April.
Due to our Ground being unavailable until next week ALL teams will play away.
However the Club Rooms are up and running and I would really like to see ALL players back there for 1 Beer or Soft Drink after your respective games this coming Saturday.
Huge amounts of work under difficult circumstances by various people around the club will see MLC represented with Very good numbers throughout our Women’s and Men’s sections.
Registrations via Sporting Pulse are going along OK but there is still a few players that need to register.
Please be reminded that a player is NOT allowed to play unless they are registered on Sporting Pulse.
When registering we would prefer that you don’t pay online but pay subs direct to Karen Meredith or deposit into our club account stating Subs and your Name.

Subs for 2015 are as follows:
Seniors $370
U17/18 $260 (This includes players Under 18 on 1st Jan 2015)
U15 $220
U13 $185
U11 $175
It has been decided that Subs must be payed on time or players will NOT be playing.
$100 is due before Round 3 and remainder MUST be payed by Round 8.
Payment plans will be accommodated in Confidence if needed.

We are sending 6 people to the “Women’s focus group” next Tuesday which will be at Sports House.
The Focus Group is for Lacrosse Mothers and Female Past & Present Players to discuss what social participation might look like for lacrosse.

Sporting Pulse
Hey Everyone
In this technological age where everything is online, we are relying more heavily on Sporting Pulse for more than registrations and score entering.
With this in mind I would like to run a training session on Sporting Pulse for the committee and anyone else who wants to know how to use Sporting Pulse.
Everyone on the executive committee is an administrator on SP and should be able to access it any time to do whatever they need to do.
Mal Reid has the job of registrations and Match results, whilst he is happy to help anyone out with any enquiries (as am I ) coaches should be able to access the data base.
This enables them to see who is registered themselves, and any financial data or junior permits as needed.
This should be handled by the relevant persons, and quite frankly the more people who know how to use the system the better off as a club we will be.
I would like all team managers to attend so they can be shown how to enter match results if required.
It is a very simple system to use and can and should be utilised for a lot more than we currently use it for.
I was hoping to run this session on Wednesday the 15th April at 7pm at the club.
I will ask Mal and Mike Naughton to attend to help out with any enquiries.
You will need to bring a laptop or tablet ( i have a few spares I can bring for anyone who needs one)

Could all players try there best to wear a black T-shirt or Under shirt for game day.
This brings a little sense of style,pride and unity as we take the field and represent Malvern Lacrosse for season 2015
Mouthguards
Yes you will need one to play.
Whilst there “might” be some leniency from the Umpires R1, they will be enforcing all players to be wearing one!
So get down to the local chemist, purchase your desired color, boil some water, set and done!
Just remember to put it in your Lax bag for tomorrow! : )
