Australian Men’s Team
Yes, first and foremost, the news that some may not have heard but the Malvern Lacrosse Club is very proud to mention that our own “Tim Graham’ is still in the hunt to make the senior Aussie Team.
With the latest cut being made in January, Tim is still training hard to cement a position in the final team for the World series later this year.
We are 100% behind you Tim and wish you all the best on the final leg of a 2 yr campaign!

Victorian Under 18 Boys and Girls reps
A big shout out to all reps in the girls and boys U18 Victorian Lacrosse Teams soon to be competing in March this year
Mitchell Baker
Lachlan Bown
Sarah Davie
Emma Davie
We would like to wish them all the best as the compete for the main prize fiercely sought after by West and South Australia.
If your over in Sth Australia around Easter time, make sure you pop your head in and cheer them on!
Good luck as you represent Malvern on the big stage!
Polocrosse
YEP Not a typo!
Polocrosse as described on the internet:
Polocrosse is a team sport that is a combination of POLO & LACROSSE (Brilliant)
It is played outside, on a field, on horseback.
Each rider….. **Ed Note**.. WAIT WAIT WAIT! “On horseback!!” WT?
Yes you heard it a ‘2 day event’ down at Moorooduc from 8am – 5pm with the bar opening at 5pm
(cause if you drink and ride…your a bloody idiot!….and the horse might kick you off!!)
Caulfield and Malvern Lacrosse will be heading down to cheer on this 1st time event which promises to be a lot of fun!
(Can’t wait to see our very own ‘Browny’ handling a wild steed!…What? He’s not riding? Booooo!)
Tell your friends, it’ll be a fun couple of days!

Junior & Senior Training
Junior training officially starts 21st February at 5pm.
Dust off your….hang on! I know you’ve all been doing plenty of ‘wall ball’ on your left so ‘silly me’
Bring your gear (and all the stuff you got at xmas) and have a great time catching up with your friends as we head into another fun year at Malvern Lacrosse!
(Anybody that wants to coach or is just willing to help out with training, please feel free to rock up and let the Prez know)
ALSO….
Venue change after the last session at Malvern ( Wednesday 7th March) will be at Percy Treyvard Reserve, Chadstone the following MONDAY.
MLC is getting the ground resown from 12th – 31st March and we cannot use till after that time period.
( What about dogs?) ; ) #digdig #Ismellabone
So make sure you get to Chaddy in that time bracket for more of the “same same” but different
Murrumbeena bowls
Once again we have the Bendigo bank lawn bowls coming up and are looking to have a red hot crack this year
(Hint: Finnigan Finnigan Finnigan?)
If your interested and have some skill (not really) make sure you put your name down for what is a very fun time to be had and get the chance to promote and Network with other clubs, businesses etc on a casual basis whilst learning the “lingo” like: Touchers – Blocker – Back Bowl , just to name a few..
Season start dates
Make sure you get on the “Sports TG” app which tells you all the details of when where and what time all games will be played this year from the juniors all the way to senior Men and Women
Heads Up!!
If you want to help around the club this year, you might need to check a few of these off depending on what you want to do?
