Dear President and Secretary,
Firstly congratulations for making it to the Grand Final this weekend, what an amazing effect by your players to make it this far.
I have attached the fixture for Sunday and this year, Lacrosse Victoria will be only producing a digital Grand Final program. To enable us to produce this program for the this weekend’s Grand Finals I would appreciate if your club could provide us with a team list for your grand final teams for the weekend, by 9 am on Friday 8th September.
The team list must be in word format and needs to name all players in the team in numerical order with playing number then surname & first name. At the bottom can you please list the names of the coach & manager for the teams.

Tonight’s Feast!
Tonight we have a meal that promises to be one of those classic cold night comfort feeds that is just like a Nanna’s hug
Janet Baker is going to be serving up a roast for tonight’s fine dinning which comes with all the trimmings!
This is a very much appreciated meal supplied by ‘Team Baker’ who have selflessly stepped up to the plate (pardon the pun) “5 times” this year.
Make sure you say thank you for this very kind gesture as it is much appreciated by the club!
Grill’d
Thank you to all who ventured down to Grill’d in Malvern to buy a burger or 3!
Glad to announce that we have achieved a result of coming 2nd out of the contenders which was a pretty good effort!
No doubt we’ll have a crack again next year and see how we go!
U13 Eastside
I forgot to mention last week that we had our girls U13 Eastside Team in finals too!
They were unfortunate that they didn’t proceed further but they did have a red hot go at it!
Meg,Leah,Danielle and Amelie all represented Malvern in that team and held their heads high!
We are very proud of your efforts girls and looking forward to seeing you next year!
Other Weekend Results
Last week we had 2 other teams that had their season wind up as well.
Div 3 on Saturday went into to battle ‘undermanned’ and against a very strong Williamstown team.
The odds were too strong but their efforts were cheered on by the Malvern Supporters!
On Sunday, our U17 Eastside girls were in the hunt but were unable to topple the very strong Footscray Team.
They did give their all and once again the cheer squad on the sidelines was very vocal in their support!
Malvern are very proud of your efforts!
Speaking of proud moments….
Brooke Reid has been appointed Captain of the Under 15 “Ice” Team that is heading over to Perth in October!
Well done ‘Chick’ (as Nina would say) and we know that you have fun and lead the team by example.
