Committee Positions 2016
As reported in the last update, there were positions available on the committee for season 2016. Those being President, Secretary and Treasurer.
As of TODAY, we have had 1 tentative member saying that they will take on one of the roles of either Treasurer or Secretary “If no one applys”.
This is a great sign of dedication from this member but they have already been involved on the committee for many years previously.
If you have the slightest desire of ‘having a go’ at one of these positions, know this… You will not be thrown into the “deep end” but have a support network from the previous office bearers, general committee & Life members who are involved in making the club function.
As we near Christmas it would be nice to relieve the 3 current members who cannot return next year due to their change in work schedule.
Just yesterday we received an email from LV requesting our details for office bearers so they can update their records heading into the 2016 season.

2018 Australian Coach
It is with great pleasure, I’d like to announce the appointment of Glenn Meredith as the Head Coach of the Australian Senior Mens Lacrosse Team for 2018.
The ALA recently announced the appointment of Glenn Meredith who will lead the team at the 2018 FIL Men’s World Championship, in Manchester, England.
This will be Glenn’s second Head Coach appointment following Australia’s fourth place finish at the 2014 FIL Men’s World Championship in Denver USA.
The ‘momentum’ generated in Denver will only be enhanced with Glenn back at the helm to guide Australian Lacrosse into the limelight again.
Malvern Lacrosse would like to congratulate their newest “Life Member” Glenn Meredith on his appointment and wish him the best of luck.
