As the new President I would like to take this opportunity to firstly thank all of the people who were on our committee in 2014. This group of people devoted huge amounts of their time to make sure that our club ran smoothly and successfully during the 2014 season.
I would like to welcome on board all of the new members of our committee for the 2015 season. 2015 will be a very exciting time for all of those involved in our Family orientated club.
This coming season will see some very exciting Juniors progress to the Senior levels as we all get to savour the fruits of the hard work done by many people over a period of many years.
Our Junior program for Boys and Girls going forward is in great shape and our numbers in the Junior grades will be very sound in 2015.
Senior numbers will also be very healthy as along with the Rookie kids coming up we will also welcome the return of some long term injuries and journeymen returning from overseas.
From my own personal point of view there is “Nothing Broken” so nothing needs to be fixed.
It is my intention to continue the hard work that has been put in by those before me. People who know me well are fully aware that I have “Premierships” in mind, but at the same time the upholding of Tradition, Family involvement, and feeling of Welcome at this great club is my main agenda.
Finally to all of the Past Players who receive the Malvern Mail, I urge you to put your hand into your pocket and throw a few dollars our way.
If you can’t put your hand into your pocket, put your head into the club and get on board for the ride of your life.
The next meeting of our committee will be held at 7.00pm SHARP at the MalvernVale on Thursday 11th December. Everyone is welcome to attend.
