AGM & Constitution Details
As you all should know the AGM is on next week being Wednesday 16 October 2013 at the Malvern Vale Hotel in the upstairs meeting room.
It will be starting at 7:00 PM and all positions will be declared vacant at the meeting for positions on the committee.
Life membership nominations need to be submitted and the ‘criteria’ needs to be met for suitable applicants.
Anyone nominating a person needs to supply a detailed list of achievements and acknowledgements of the nominee.

Also an update of our clubs constitution is required by the Associations Incorporation Reform Act (2012) which was released in November 2012 and replaces the previous Act (1981) governing Victorian clubs and associations.
The new Act outlines 23 minimum requirements to be provided for, in the rules of an incorporated association and we have drafted up a model for members to view.
This in turn, needs to be submitted to the governing body by 26th November 2013 for approval and acceptance.
