Bob Russell Cup
Yes it’s tomorrow! Get up and support the State League Team as they square off against Eltham for the annual Cup.
Last time they met, it was a hard fought game with Malvern just getting ahead at the end to win 12-9.
Tomorrow’s clash is tipped to be another exciting contest!
The grounds in good shape and there’s also the warm up game with Div 1 also against Eltham at 12.30.
Southern Crosse 2013
The trials are over and pleasing to say we had a good turn out from Malvern boys who were eligible for the team.
3 Malvern boys were successful in making the team including
Thomas Bown, Ben Chapman and Aaron Currie.
Mitchell Reid was picked as an ‘alternate’ which is very pleasing as his time in playing Lacrosse has been short.
The 3 boys will be ‘Fundraising’ on the BBQ tomorrow during the S/L game.Come down, say G’day and buy a sausage or 5 from them tomorrow to try and help their costs, as this year it is in Adelaide.
*To all boys who didn’t make it, make sure you come back next year stronger with the advice the coaches have given you!
